Ramon Mateu, new interim director of the CCMA.

Barcelona, July 15 .- The President of the Governing Council of the Catalan Audiovisual Media Corporation (CCMA), Enric Marin, has appointed Ramon Mateu journalist, now director of Catalunya Radio, to handle functions provisionally address General Corporation.

In a statement, the CCMA announced that the decision adopted today by Marin will be effective next September 6, when Rosa Cullell definitely leave, aika gold, office.

Cullell Rosa (Barcelona, 1958), leaving his position as general manager of the Gran Teatre del Liceu in April 2008 to take charge of the CCMA, having received the affirmative vote of the twelve board members.

Cullell a degree in Information Sciences from the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB) and Senior Management from the IESE business school.

As a journalist, has worked at the BBC, TVE and the newspaper El Pais, and has held the posts of deputy director of La Caixa and CEO Publishing Group 62, among other responsibilities.
