Morocco closed 1256 in a precarious state mosques for security reasons.

Rabat, Morocco .- Aug 9 1256 mosques closed completely and others partially 416 to undertake urgent reforms in them, after inspection has been conducted by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs Habous and places of worship in the country.

In a statement, the ministry said there had been reviewed 19 205 mosques and prayer rooms, of which more than half, STO gold, (10 437) must deal with some renovations.

Among the mosques affected, 513 will be completely demolished and then rebuilt, the statement said.
